Meet Chef Bill Beck

As a three time “Best of Philly” winner, and twice featured chef at Manhattan’s James Beard House, Bill Beck has built a reputation for culinary excellence.

Chef Beck burst onto the Philadelphia food scene in 1996 when he founded Pompano Grille, one of Philadelphia’s first Cuban-influenced restaurants. For the past 20 years, he has also served as an Executive Chef for several prominent Philadelphia restaurants and catering companies and maintained a constant eye on both quality and creativity in his kitchens.

Today, Chef Beck operates Taste! Catering and two Beck’s Cajun Cafe locations– at Philadelphia’s Reading Terminal Market & 30th Street Station- and brings to the region a line of chef-inspired condiments and spice blends.
